laptop battery knowledge

Laptop battery life than your normal Dell laptop battery… ; Not the 7 hours dell claims but that says up to** so your never going to get that it is to attract people to buy it like myself sticks out about an inch on the back doesnt bother anything still fits in my bag just fine don’t even notice when working . Hope it doesnt go klunk after 1yr to 2yr like almost all the other 9-cells for lattitude and etc have
Did not get the advertised 7 hours plus, and was not really surprised. I get 6 hours 15 minutes from my laptop battery, which is still respectable. I would recommend it. Sticks out the back by about an inch. It does not get in the way at all during usage, so not a concern really. I find the product to be a bit overpriced. Maybe in the whereabouts of $150 would have been more reasonable
Does not meet the advertised 7:13 hrs. battery life. Best I can get is 4 hrs on the Max Battery power setting. Misleading claims by Dell
I purchased this battery, then ran two discharge/charge tests. It ran my Dell inspiron 1525 laptop battery for 3 hours both times, and recharged in less than 2 hours both times, which are the same results as the original Dell battery. At $85 less than a replacement battery for Dell, and with the same 1 year warranty, it seems to be a very good value.
About 25 days later: The battery failed - it now runs the computer battery only two hours, then quits. The laptop doesn’t shut down normally as it would for a low battery, because the power meter indicates 35% remaining when the battery quits. Charging resumes at 35%, so it appears two cells have completely failed. I am returning the battery(dell inspiron 1545 battery) to Amazon.
