Alienware laptops upgrade the mobile gaming experience

Dell's Alienware, a brand known for its high-performance gaming machines, has upgraded the M11x and 17x laptops to keep up with today's PC games graphics requirements. In addition, the company has also added its first 14-inch model, the M14x, to its fleet of laptops.

The new M14x laptop is designed for gamers who want a balance of performance and mobility. The M14x has similar performance to the M15x but is lighter, smaller and has longer TOSHIBA satellite 330cds battery  life. This laptop is not only for gaming, but should be a competent entertainment machine as well.

The Alienware M11x is designed for gamers who want a mobile HD gaming experience along with long Compaq presario v6000 battery life. The M11x has been upgraded with Sandy Bridge CPUs and the graphics card bumped up to an Nvidia GeForce GT540M. These upgrades make the M11x one of the best laptops in the 11.6-inch category.

The upgraded Alienware M17x is now 3D capable, making it the first laptop in Alienware's arsenal to support 3D. With this upgrade, you would be able to enjoy 3D in full HD. The new M17x also allows gamers to use the laptop's screen as an external display for the Xbox 360 or the PlayStation 3. However, it will not be able to show 3D content from the PlayStation 3 or Blu-ray players.

All three laptops also contain the Alienware Command Center for easy access to the lighting controls, power management and touchpad controls. These models are already in stores. The M18x however, will not be brought to Asia for the time being as Dell states that it sees no market for it yet.
